Dr. Martin Schroeder is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biosciences at Durham University. He holds a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Darmstadt and completed postdoctoral research at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the University of Michigan Medical School. His research focuses on Molecular Biology, Unfolded Protein Response, and Yeast Genetics, particularly investigating mechanisms of endoplasmic reticulum stress and its implications in metabolic disorders and cellular signaling.
