Martin Raspe is a Digital Humanities Scientist at the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max-Planck-Institut für Kunstgeschichte, Rome, with a focus on art history research. His academic career spans roles as a lecturer at the University of Würzburg (1991–1996), a research fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana (1997–1998), and a scientific associate at the University of Trier (1999–2004).
