Martin Petrin is the inaugural Dancap Private Equity Chair in Corporate Governance and an Associate Professor jointly appointed in the DAN Department of Management and Organizational Studies and the Faculty of Law at Western University. He holds a S.J.D. from UCLA, a Ph.D. and J.D. from the University of St. Gallen, and an LL.M. from Columbia University. His research focuses on corporate governance, corporate law, and the impact of AI and new technologies on legal frameworks, with a comparative perspective. He has authored/co-authored books like *Corporate Duties to the Public* and contributed to journals and policy reports globally.

**Consultancy & Visiting Roles**: Consultant for legal reforms; visiting professorships at Notre Dame, NYU, and Cambridge. Served as an advisor to the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and Toxics.
