Martin-Paul Buchholz is a researcher at the Department of Eastern European History, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. His work focuses on the intersection of religious institutions and European identity in Ukraine, particularly examining historical shifts from Soviet legacies to contemporary geopolitical tensions.
