Dr. Martin Kriemann is a Research Fellow at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, jointly affiliated with the Institute for Pedagogy (Faculty of Philosophy III) and the Institute for Geosciences and Geography. His research examines societal transformations, focusing on structural change in post-industrial regions, East-West German dynamics, social memory, and educational equity. He co-leads Innovation Team A4 at the European Center for Just Transition Research, investigating fair transitions for youth and families in Saxony-Anhalt.
