Martin Entz is a Professor at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Plant Science, where he holds the Jarislowsky Chair in Natural Systems Agriculture for Climate Solutions. He leads the Natural Systems Agriculture Research Group, collaborating with farmers, breeders, and international partners.

His publications focus on participatory breeding, legume intensification, soil health, and climate resilience. Key projects include the Glenlea Long-Term Organic-Conventional Study and collaborations in East Africa with the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
