Marthony Robins is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Engineering and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Dartmouth College (DHMC). His research focuses on AI/ML applications in medical imaging, 3D printing for phantom development, photon-counting CT technology, and quantitative CT analysis. He holds a BS in Physics from Mississippi State University (2012) and a PhD in Medical Physics from Duke University (2018). Dr. Robins is a member of the AAPM, ACR, and RSNA professional organizations.
His work bridges computational methods with clinical radiology, emphasizing accurate lesion simulation and volumetric analysis in CT imaging. Key contributions include developing anonymized CT databases, evaluating texture measurements, and validating 3D tumor simulations. His research has been published in Medical Physics, Journal of Medical Imaging, and Academic Radiology.
Dr. Robins has received prestigious awards such as the ACR Richard L. Morin Fellow (2020) and the Royal Society of London Award (2016). His recent studies explore photon-counting CT's potential for improving diagnostic precision and quantitative imaging standards.
