Marta Petrykowska is a Lecturer at the A. Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk, Poland, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. She holds a Master's degree in Special Education (Resocialization Pedagogy) from the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw and a PhD in Humanities (2004). Since 1999, she has been employed at the Academy, focusing on pedagogy and social sciences.
Professionally, she has served as a probation officer at the District Court in Ciechanów since 1998, currently leading the 1st Team of the Probation Service executing criminal judgments. Since 2021, she has specialized in addiction psychotherapy and is currently undergoing certification in this field.
Her research interests include social pathologies, legal frameworks for resocialization, and addiction therapy. She actively participates in EU-funded projects at Vistula Academy of Finance and Business and integrates practical legal and social prevention expertise into her academic work.
