Ewa Chmurska is a Lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy at Vistula University (Pułtusk branch), affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. She holds a Master's degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of Warsaw and has over 26 years of professional experience as a psychologist and educator. Currently, she works at the Psychological and Pedagogical Counseling Center in Warsaw, collaborates with the Mental Health and Dietetics Clinic Help-Medical, and serves at the PIO Rehabilitation Center in Pułtusk.
Her research interests focus on adult mental disorders, developmental disorders in children and adolescents, emotional and anxiety disorders, crisis intervention, and therapy for individuals in crisis. She has co-implemented EU-funded projects, including the 2007–2009 initiative to counteract domestic violence in Warsaw.
Ewa Chmurska has held roles as a teaching assistant since 1995 and has taught at multiple institutions including the Academy of Special Education, University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Education, and the Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk. She is a certified cognitive therapist using the Instrumental Enrichment method and previously served as a psychology expert at the Warsaw District Court (2003–2012).
