Dr. Tadeusz Cichorz holds the position of Assistant Professor at Vistula University’s Pułtusk Branch, specializing in Pedagogy within the Faculty of Humanities. He has extensive academic and professional experience, including roles as Vice-Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Education at the A. Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk (2006–2018). His career began in 1973 at the Military Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Szczytno, followed by positions at the Military Academy of Political Sciences and the Institute of Management Training and Development, where he co-founded and led the Department of Research and Analysis until 2003.
Dr. Cichorz’s research focuses on innovative policing methods, particularly community policing, and the effectiveness of educational and care systems. He conducted training stays in Slovakia and Germany between 2001–2003, including at the Police Corps Academy in Bratislava and the Saxony Police Academy in Rothenburg. His teaching interests span pedagogical methodologies, human rights, and communicative competences for educators.
He obtained a Doctor of Social Sciences in Pedagogy in 1990 and has contributed to EU-funded projects at Vistula University. His interdisciplinary work bridges educational theory, law, and social communication.
