Professor Marta Hernandez-Jover is a veterinary epidemiologist and professor at Charles Sturt University's School of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences in Wagga Wagga, Australia. She serves as Associate Head of School Research and has held roles such as Acting Director of the Graham Centre for Agricultural Innovation. Her work focuses on biosecurity, animal health surveillance, and risk analysis for infectious diseases, integrating social and biological sciences to address human behavior in biosecurity practices.
Education: PhD in Livestock Traceability from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2006), followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Sydney. Joined CSU in 2012, teaching epidemiology and public health to veterinary students.
Research interests include:

- Zoonotic disease surveillance and risk assessment
