Marshall Arne is a Lecturer in Residence at Drury University's Hammons School of Architecture since 2020. He joined the faculty full-time in 2001 after 18 years of professional practice in architectural design leadership roles across the San Francisco Bay Area, Milwaukee, and Kansas City. As principal of Art & Architecture LLC, he maintains an active practice while also participating in international design competitions.

His academic focus includes:
- Digital design media instruction
- Traditional architectural presentation techniques
- Study abroad programs in Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Florence, Venice, Athens, and the Peloponnese
- Professional practice and communication training
Key scholarly achievements:
- Recipient of the prestigious Plym Traveling Fellowship (1993)
- Conducted sabbatical research on culture-design relationships in Paris and Barcelona (2008-2009)
Since 2004, he has directed the Hammons School of Architecture Spring Break Internship Program placing students in elite firms worldwide including Tokyo, Zurich, and Barcelona.
