Marko Lehanka is a Professor of Fine Arts (Sculpture) at the Nuremberg Academy of Fine Arts since 2006. His artistic practice focuses on sculpture and installation art, with notable works such as Bauernsäule (1999) and exhibitions including vor dem Gesetz at Cologne's Museum Ludwig (2011). He studied at the Städelschule in Frankfurt (1985–1990) under Thomas Bayrle and Michael Croissant.

Research interests include contemporary sculpture, public art installations, and interdisciplinary art practices. His works explore socio-cultural narratives through material experimentation.
