Dr. Mark Zhi Lu is an Associate Professor of Sport Management and Innovation in the Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management at Texas A&M University. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on strategic sport marketing, AI-driven innovation, and sustainability, with notable work published in top-tier journals like Journal of Marketing Research and Journal of Retailing. He has secured grants from agencies such as SSHRC and NYSERDA and serves as Vice-Chair of the AMA Entrepreneurial Marketing SIG. Dr. Lu is also an award-winning educator with extensive teaching experience across North America, China, and Japan.
Education: Ph.D., Business Administration (Marketing & Applied Statistics), The Pennsylvania State University.

- Strategic Sport Marketing: Examining marketing strategies in sports industries.
- Innovation: AI applications in consumer behavior and entrepreneurship.
