Mark Yingling

Mark Yingling is a Senior Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music and Percussion at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Johns Hopkins University. He holds a D.M.A. in Wind Conducting (2008), M.M. in Wind Conducting (2001), and B.M. in Percussion Performance/Music Education (1996), all from Peabody Conservatory and Pennsylvania State University.

His expertise spans percussion performance, wind conducting, and music education. As a performer, he has collaborated with orchestras such as the Lancaster Symphony, Reading Symphony, and Allegro Chamber Orchestra. He is also an active educator, teaching at Schuylkill Valley School District and previously at Millersville University and Penn State York/Lancaster campuses.

Yingling's honors include being a finalist for the 1997 Thelma Robinson Award and membership in Pi Kappa Lambda. He is affiliated with organizations like the Conductors Guild and Percussive Arts Society.
