Mark L. Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in American Studies at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on Colonial America, the American Revolution, the Early American Republic, the US South, and the early modern Atlantic World. He has expertise in History, Cultural Studies, and Multidisciplinary Humanities.
