Professor Mark Stewart is an Honorary Professor at the School of Engineering, University of Newcastle, with over 30 years of experience in probabilistic risk and vulnerability assessments for infrastructure and security systems. His work spans terrorism, climate change, and natural hazards, focusing on cost-benefit analysis and policy optimization.
- Current Roles: Director of the Centre for Infrastructure Performance and Reliability (2007–present), Editor-in-Chief of Structural Safety (2020–present), and member of the ARC College of Experts (2019–2021).
