Curtis Stewart is a Professor at The Juilliard School and Artistic Director of the American Composers Orchestra. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (University of Rochester) in violin performance and mathematics, Stewart’s career intertwines music, storytelling, and social commentary. His work Seasons of Change, a reimagining of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, explores climate change, class inequality, and AI’s role in preserving humanity’s legacy. Stewart’s compositions blend Afrofuturist themes with classical traditions, challenging audiences to confront urgent societal issues.
