Mark Overbey

Mark Overbey is a Foundation Studies Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design, where he coordinates digital media programs and previously chaired fine arts. He holds an MFA in Fine Arts Painting and a BFA in Digital Media from Ferris State University.

His creative practice spans children's book illustration, animation, and exhibitions showcased internationally. Awards include an EVVY for The I-Wants and the Gimmies and multiple art exhibition honors. His pedagogical research explores digital media literacy and cross-disciplinary art education.
