Mark Ojeme is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at De Montfort University (DMU), affiliated with the Leicester Castle Business School. He holds a PhD in Marketing from Northumbria University and has been contributing to higher education since 2013, joining DMU in 2017. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and actively involved in educational leadership, research, and PhD supervision.

Mark's research focuses on international marketing, digital marketing for SMEs, and relationship marketing, with particular emphasis on cross-cultural dynamics, customer engagement, trust, loyalty, and AI in customer relationships. His work often explores SME-bank relationships in emerging economies, especially Nigeria, analyzing commitment, trust repair, and digital transformation. He advocates for cultural responsive teaching and constructive alignment in pedagogy, aiming to deliver inclusive and transformational education.
The recent publications reflect a strong trajectory in B2B relationship marketing, particularly in financial services and SME contexts. His work integrates psychological and sociological constructs such as normative commitment, uncertainty avoidance, and perceived justice into marketing models. There is a clear focus on emerging markets, digitalization challenges, and the human aspects of service relationships, even as automation increases.
His professional recognition includes multiple best paper awards at the Academy of Marketing Conference and nominations for teaching excellence. He has also been appointed as a reviewer for journals and conferences.
