Mark Miller

Dr. Mark Miller serves as Professor of Sociology in the Behavioral Sciences Department at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) within the School of Natural and Social Sciences, a position he has held since 2005. Prior to ETBU, he taught as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Baptist University, Collin County Community College, Dallas County Community College, and North Central Texas Community College, and pastored Creekside Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas.

• Ph.D. in Sociology of Urban Studies and Family, University of North Texas (2000)

His research critically examines religious sociology through studies of church charity, substance abuse in higher education focusing on college students' drug and alcohol patterns, and student worldview formation.
