Mark Hamill is a Lecturer in Building Performance and Regulation within Ulster University's School of the Built Environment since 2008, serving as Course Director for the BSc (Hons) Construction Engineering and Management programme. His career spans over 30 years in construction, building regulation, and architecture, including roles as an architect in private practice (1990-1996), Local Authority Building Control Surveyor (1996-2000), and Head of Building Control (2000-2008).
