Dr. Mark Fenemore is a Senior Lecturer in Modern European History at Manchester Metropolitan University. His work focuses on Cold War mentalities, postwar German history, and the intersection of culture and politics. He holds a PhD in German Studies from University College London and has held prestigious fellowships including the Kluge Fellowship at the Library of Congress. Fenemore’s research explores topics such as Cold War Berlin’s policing, espionage, and youth subcultures.
