Edo Schreuders is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of History and Political Science at Norwich University. Born in the Netherlands and based in Berlin since 2003, he holds dual master's degrees in Modern European History (focused on Germany) and Social/Political Philosophy. His professional work bridges academia and public history institutions, including the Berlin Wall Foundation and Berlin Hohenschönhausen Memorial (former Stasi Prison).
Research Focus: Schreuders specializes in 20th-century German history, with emphases on:
- Memorial culture and politics of memory in postwar Europe
- East Germany's state institutions (e.g., Volkspolizei)
- Cold War urban landscapes and authoritarian regimes
