Dr. Mark De Vitis is a Lecturer in Early Modern Art and Honours Coordinator in the Discipline of Art History at the University of Sydney's School of Arts and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (2012) and has held prestigious fellowships at institutions such as the Getty and The Newberry. His research focuses on material culture, dress studies, portraiture, and print culture across 17th–19th century Europe and Australia.
