Mark Crowley

Mark Crowley is a Teaching Professor in Business History at the David Eccles Business School, University of Utah, where he has been a faculty member since July 2019. He teaches courses on Foundations of Business Thought (MGT 1050) and Women and Capitalism in Twentieth Century Britain (MGT 3900). Previously, he held academic positions as Associate Professor at Wuhan University in China (2013-2019) and was a visiting scholar at Harvard University's Center for European Studies (2018-2019).

His scholarship explores themes of capitalism, class structures, and workers' experiences in wartime Britain and Europe.

His recent work shows evolution toward transnational perspectives, analyzing diplomatic relations and humanitarian efforts during WWII.
