Dr. Marissa Largo is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Visual Art & Art History at York University's School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD). She holds a PhD in Social Justice Education from the University of Toronto (2018) and has extensive teaching experience, including at OCAD University and NSCAD University. Her work bridges art, education, and social justice, focusing on Asian diasporic cultural production, Filipinx studies, and decolonial aesthetics.
