Amanda Boulos (she/her) is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in the Faculty of Art at OCAD University. She is a visual artist and educator based in Tkaronto/Toronto, specializing in fragmented national narratives from Palestine, Lebanon, and Canada. Her work explores how oral histories shape the future of the Palestinian diaspora (shattat).
- Education: MFA from University of Guelph, BFA from York University
Her research interests focus on transnational cultural identities through artistic practices, with a particular emphasis on diasporic communities. Boulos has exhibited work in major Canadian cities and internationally in New York. She actively contributes to cultural initiatives via memberships in the Toronto project space 'the plumb' and as a programmer for the Toronto Palestine Film Festival.
