Mariska Beljon is a Coordinator and Context Tutor at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, specializing in the Interior Architecture and Furniture Design department. Trained as a visual artist and art historian, she brings extensive experience from roles as a freelance writer, editor, coordinator, and guest curator for institutions such as De Witte Raaf, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, and Museum De Lakenhal. Her academic work focuses on the intersection of fictional artists and institutional critique, as well as the conceptual frameworks underlying exhibition-making practices.
Her role at KABK since 2014 involves bridging theoretical contexts with design practices, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to art and architecture.
