Mario Riverol Fernández

Dr. Mario Riverol Fernández is a Neurology Specialist affiliated with the University of Navarra Clinic and the Navarra Health Research Institute (IdiSNA). He serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra, and is accredited by ANECA. His clinical and research focus centers on neurodegenerative diseases causing dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal dementia, and dementia with Lewy bodies.

Mario Riverol Fernández is actively involved in teaching, coordinating the Brain Diseases course in the Master's Degree in Biomedical Research (Neuroscience and Cognition specialization) and instructing Neurology, Clinical Practice VIII, and Mind, Brain, and Behavior courses. He has served as a resident tutor at the University of Navarra Clinic intermittently since 2006.

He holds memberships in the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN), Navarra Neurological Society (SNN), European Alzheimer Disease Consortium (EADC), and various ad-hoc committees focused on translational research and end-of-life humanization.
