Marilyn Corrie is a Lecturer in the Department of English Lang & Literature at University College London since 1997. She holds a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford (1995) and a First-Class Honours degree in English and French from the University of Glasgow (1990). Her academic career began with a Darby Fellowship at Lincoln College, Oxford (1992–1997).

Her research focuses on medieval literature, particularly magic, theology, and Arthurian traditions in Middle English texts. She has extensively studied manuscripts like MS Digby 86 and British Library MS Harley 2253, examining their compilation, circulation, and cultural contexts.
Recent publications include a monograph on magic and theology in medieval literature, articles on fate in Malory's Le Morte Darthur, and chapters analyzing multilingual manuscripts and Arthurian themes.
She teaches undergraduate courses on Old and Middle English literature, Chaucer, and the History of the English Language, and co-convenes MA courses on the medieval book and medieval travel writing.
