Professor Raluca Radulescu is a leading academic in Medieval Literature and Director of Research, Impact, and Engagement at Bangor University's School of Arts, Culture, and Language. She holds a Professorship in Medieval Literature and has held roles including ECR Lead for the College of Arts and Humanities and Director of Bangor's Centre for Arthurian Studies since 2015. She earned her BA from the University of Bucharest and her MPhil/PhD from the University of Manchester.
Her research focuses on late medieval literature, Arthurian and non-Arthurian romances, political culture, and manuscript miscellanies. She has published extensively on topics such as Malory's Morte Darthur, medieval chronicles, and the cultural significance of Arthurian legends. Her work bridges book history, cultural studies, and interdisciplinary approaches to medieval identity.
Her articles span themes like emotional dynamics in medieval texts, political propaganda in chronicles, and the legacy of Arthurian narratives. Recent publications include contributions to the Cambridge History of Arthurian Literature and Culture and studies on Malory's characterizations.

Her leadership includes organizing international conferences and public engagement initiatives like the Medieval Fun Day and King Arthur Family Day, which brought medieval culture to schools and the public.
