Marie Zvosec serves as Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance at Randolph College since fall 2021, having previously participated in the Helen McGehee Visiting Artist Program as adjunct faculty since 2014.
Her educational background includes:
- Training at University of North Carolina School of the Arts
- Training at Juilliard
- MFA from Sarah Lawrence College (2017)
Zvosec's expertise spans contemporary dance, improvisation, choreography, ballet, theatre, and opera. Her teaching philosophy merges conservatory-style technical rigor with National Dance Institute's creativity-focused methodology, emphasizing attainable challenges alongside long-term mastery goals. Current courses include dance history, composition, ballet, and modern dance.
Professional experience includes performing with Buglisi Dance Theatre and completing National Dance Institute's Teacher Training program. She frequently attends dance concerts, musical recitals, and theatre performances outside academic duties.
