Marie Tachouet serves as Artist Faculty and Program Director of Woodwinds at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts, Music Conservatory. She concurrently holds the position of Principal Flute with the Lyric Opera of Chicago and has performed as principal flute with major orchestras including Seattle Symphony, San Diego Symphony, and Milwaukee Symphony.

Professor Tachouet specializes in flute performance with dual focus on orchestral repertoire and contemporary music.
