Marie Clancy is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Exeter, specializing in child health inequalities, cross-cultural communication, and palliative care. With a clinical background as a registered children’s nurse, she has worked internationally in Australia, Trinidad, Malawi, Afghanistan, and New Zealand, focusing on oncology, pain management, and cultural aspects of care. Her PhD research explored the experiences of asylum seeker and refugee families in children’s palliative care services, utilizing arts-based methodologies and poetic expression.
