معرفی
Marie-Ève Lambert is an Associate Professor at the University of Montréal's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences. She leads the Laboratoire d'épidémiologie et de médecine porcine (LEMP), focusing on porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) epidemiology. Her research integrates statistical, spatial, and phylogenetic analyses to inform disease control strategies.
Education: DVM (2004) and PhD in epidemiology (2012) from Université de Montréal, followed by a postdoc on sequencing data integration for regional SRRP control. She joined the Faculty as an adjoint professor in 2017.
Research: Specializes in PRRSV epidemiology, genetic diversity, and surveillance. Key projects include the Centre de recherche en infectiologie porcine et avicole (CRIPA), funded by industry and governmental bodies like MAPAQ and FRQNT. She leads initiatives on regional risk factors for SRRP in Quebec swine herds.
Publications: Over 10 peer-reviewed articles on PRRSV genetic sequencing, surveillance tools, and spatial-temporal analysis. Her work bridges molecular biology and applied epidemiology.
Grants: Secured funding for projects including automated strain classification (MAPAQ, 2019–2021) and biosecurity practices (MAPAQ, 2018–2021). Collaborates widely across veterinary and agricultural institutions.
Laboratory: LEMP focuses on PRRSV surveillance and control, offering web-based tools for data visualization and decision support in swine production.
