Marianne Kim is a versatile musician and composer serving as faculty at Northern Illinois University's School of Music (College of Visual and Performing Arts) and North Park University. She teaches organ, harpsichord, gospel piano, and collaborative performance. Her affiliations include principal organist at Christ Church of Oak Brook, collaborative artist at Ravinia Festival, and former roles with Lakeside Singers and Chicago-area churches.
Her research and performance span classical, jazz, gospel, and contemporary church music, with over 400 published compositions featuring jazz harmonies and innovative arrangements. Professional recognitions include:
