Prof. Marianne Braig is a Senior Professor of Political Science at the Latin America Institute (LAI) of Freie Universität Berlin. She specializes in political culture, statehood, and global interconnections, with a focus on Latin America. Her research examines transregional inequalities and globalization, including projects on biodiversity governance, forensic anthropology, and sustainable development in the Andean region.
