Dr. Ana Nenadovic is a researcher and lecturer at SOAS University of London, affiliated with the School of History, Religions and Philosophies. She joined SOAS in 2022 after previous academic roles including a lectureship at Freie Universität Berlin, project coordination at the Margherita-von-Brentano Centre, and teaching positions at the University of Guadalajara and University of Banja Luka. She holds educational backgrounds in African Studies and Romance languages from the University of Vienna and University of Havana, culminating in a PhD from Freie Universität Berlin focusing on representations of sexualized violence in South African and Latin American literature.
Her research explores intersections of Feminist and Queer Studies, Literary and Cultural Analysis, and Digital Humanities, with regional expertise spanning Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Current investigations examine diasporic identities, gendered violence, decolonial thought, and feminist expressions in hip hop culture. She offers PhD supervision in Gender Studies, Postcolonial Literature, Feminist Philosophies, and Hip Hop Studies.
Analyses of her publications reveal consistent engagement with trauma narratives, decolonial resistance, and intersectional feminism across geographical contexts. Her works employ interdisciplinary methodologies bridging literary theory, cultural studies, and performance analysis to examine power structures and marginalized voices.
