Marianne Boes is an Associate Professor at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht) and heads the Pediatric Immunology Laboratory embedded within the Center for Translational Immunology. Her research focuses on harnessing immune responses through immune response modification for disease prevention and therapeutic applications in children.
- Education: PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), postdoc at Harvard Medical School
Her work spans primary immunodeficiency detection, cancer immunotherapy, and infectious disease dynamics, with a strong emphasis on translational approaches. Current projects include MHC-I expression modulation in tumors and lipid antigen delivery via lipoproteins for T-cell activation.
