Mariann Benke serves as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management and Organizational Sciences within the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pécs. She completed her doctoral dissertation in 2020 focusing on self-determination theory in motivation and learning contexts.
Her educational background includes a PhD from the University of Pécs (2020), preceded by professional roles at OTP Bank Plc. (2009-2010) and Praktika Kft. (2012). She served as a research assistant in OTKA project 101886 during 2013-2014.
Dr. Benke's research centers on change management dynamics, motivational frameworks (particularly self-determination theory), conflict resolution, and innovative animal-assisted leadership development in academic settings. Her work bridges psychological theory with practical organizational applications, emphasizing human factors in transformation processes.
Her publication portfolio demonstrates consistent focus on motivational psychology within management contexts, with recent contributions exploring interdisciplinary connections between leadership theory, organizational behavior, and educational methodologies.
