Dr. Maria Tanyag is a Senior Lecturer and Australian Research Council (ARC) DECRA Fellow at the Department of International Relations, Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, Australian National University. Her expertise lies in feminist critiques of global peace and security, focusing on the Asia Pacific region, particularly the Philippines. She holds a PhD from Monash University and degrees from the University of Auckland and the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Her research addresses the intersections of sexual and reproductive health with global governance, crisis response, and feminist theory.
