Maria Margarida Miranda de Castro is a University Professor and Researcher at the University of Algarve (UALG), affiliated with the CCMAR - Centre of Marine and Environmental Research in Faro (Gamelas Campus). She belongs to the Fisheries, Biodiversity and Conservation research group.
Her work focuses on marine conservation, fisheries sustainability, and the ecological impacts of fishing practices.
