Maria Konstantinou

Maria Konstantinou is a Research Scholar at the School of Law, University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus. She currently serves as the Law Academy Administrator and Research Officer at the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for the Rule of Law and European Values (CRoLEV). Her academic journey includes an LLB (First Class) and LLM (Distinction) from UCLan Cyprus, with an ongoing PhD expected in January 2026. Her research focuses on Corporate Governance, Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), and Directors’ Duties.

Key research interests include exploring the intersection of corporate law with ethical and environmental responsibilities, particularly in modern business frameworks. She has contributed to CRoLEV’s ‘Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Justice Series’ (2023), emphasizing legal and societal implications of justice systems.

Notable achievements include being placed on the Vice-Chancellor’s List for academic excellence in both LLB and LLM programs.
