Dr. Maria Jeziorowska is affiliated with the Institute of Polish Philology at the University of Wrocław, where she has been teaching since 2014. She also taught Art Mediation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław from 2017 to 2020. Her academic and professional work bridges literature, visual arts, and museum studies, with a strong focus on 20th and 21st-century Polish literary culture.
Her research interests include the interplay between poetry and visual arts, intermediality, curatorial practice, and art mediation. She has published extensively in journals such as Konteksty Kultury, Roczniki Humanistyczne, and Nowy Napis, with a particular emphasis on figures like Tadeusz Różewicz and Zbigniew Herbert. Her recent publications explore ekphrasis, aesthetic experience, and the creative process through manuscript and correspondence analysis.
