Inez Kropidło is an academic affiliated with the University of Wrocław, serving as an assistant in the Department of Folk, Popular and Children's Literature and a PhD candidate in the same department. Her research focuses on children’s literature, particularly within the Anglo-Saxon tradition, and the works of Clive Staples Lewis. She emphasizes the role of imagery and creativity in children’s literary works. Since 2021, she has held the position of head of the publishing house at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. Additionally, she collaborates as a language editor with journals like Pamiętnik Literacki and publishing houses such as Ossolineum and Akwadukt.
Her academic journey includes a background in Polish Philology with a specialization in editing. Her doctoral research explores lesser-known fictional works of C.S. Lewis, analyzing their narrative and visual elements. Kropidło’s work bridges literary theory, folklore, and educational practices, advocating for interdisciplinary approaches to children’s literary studies.
Her publications span topics including the poetics of illustration in children’s literature, the interplay between text and image, and the influence of folklore on creative processes. She actively contributes to editorial practices and publishing initiatives, reflecting her commitment to both academic and applied literary studies.
