Maria Berge is a Professor of Science and Technology Education at Umeå University, with a Ph.D. in Engineering Education Research. Her work bridges gender studies and engineering education, focusing on interactional patterns, emotional positioning, and social norms in STEM learning environments. She is affiliated with the Umeå Centre for Gender Studies (UCGS) as a visiting lecturer and contributes to interdisciplinary research groups like FemHum and Umeå Science Education Research (UmSER).
