Prof. Marek Rocławski is a full professor and Vice-Rector for Organizational and Teaching Affairs at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk since 2012. He holds roles in the Department of Choral Conducting and has served as Dean of the Faculty of Choral Conducting, Music Education, and Rhythmics (2002–2008). Previously, he was a visiting professor at Pomeranian University in Słupsk (2006–2010) and associate professor at Higher Pedagogical School in Słupsk (1994–2000).
- Education: Graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk (1983).
- Artistic Roles: Conductor of the 'Cantores Veiherovienses' choir since 1985; artistic director of the National Sea Song Festival in Wejherowo and jury chair for the National Religious Song Festival 'Pater Noster' (2015–present).
Research & Artistry: Focuses on choral conducting, church music, and pedagogy. Authored numerous publications in musicology and composed arrangements for choir/orchestra. Recorded three CDs and two DVDs with his choir.
Honors: Recipient of national awards including the Silver Cross of Merit and Gloria Artis Medal for cultural contributions.
