Associate Professor Maree Bernoth is affiliated with Charles Sturt University's Department of Rural Health (Three Rivers) and holds an adjunct position there. Her research focuses on ageing, particularly in rural contexts, and she advocates for improved aged care policies and practices. She is actively involved in education, mentoring, and policy initiatives, serving on boards like the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network Aged Care Consortium and the NSW Nurses Association Aged Care Reference Group.
