Dr. Marcus Washington is an Associate Professor of Education at Shorter University, where he teaches courses on pedagogy, classroom management, and diverse learners. He holds an Ed.D. in Educational Administration & Policy from George Washington University and advanced degrees in Elementary Education and English from Howard University.

His research focuses on educational leadership, school improvement strategies, and curriculum development for early childhood and middle grades. He has published on leadership theory in elementary education, particularly regarding organizational change rituals.
